Pour from a 12oz can is slightly hazy pale. Slight metallic nose, perhaps a tad of wild olfactory. First taste is almost puckering tart, pure gose, no flavors added. Nice bite on the tongue. Good level of co2 adds to the sizzling cutting palate. Tart and refreshing, just maybe some salt, not sure. Lacking the processed character so common in domestic gose. Comes across more like a wild brew than a gose, JMHO. Either way this is purty good stuff and I like it. Finishes with a tart tongue and a tangy impression, leaves you wanting more.

Can total wine. Looks like root beer. Not shitten you, there are some what appears to be, coffee grounds on the bottom of the glass! Creamy head fades rapidly. Strong dark roasted black coffee nose. Medium palate with a boozy feel. Lets you know its near 7% if not more. Reminds me of that strong black whisky coffee my grampa used to drink when we watched black & white gunsnmoke. Taste is black coffee fer sher, its the overriding factor; a real eye opener. Not sure if I can pick out the chocolate, but if its there, its that strong bitter dark unsweetened baking cocoa, but I'm afraid its run over by the strong black coffee character. Decent co2 to make it more acceptable on the downstroke. One big ass black coffee beer. This is a java espresso, joe brew caffeine ink, mud perk cuppa sludge, all the way!

Can, pours hazy pale. Nose is slight lime on fresh pale lager olfactory. Taste is a little misbehaved for a pale american lager, some processed notes in there. However, I do pick up some citrus, maybe lemon, maybe lime. Yes, in the middle, that processed feel continues. Co2 level could be a little higher, gets almost flat near the end of the session. Not sure if I appreciate this mexican style lager, not qiite as enjoyable or friendly as the real Mexicali brews, but it's OK.

Well I do like saisons and this is a pretty good example; its a pounder can and when you pop it, it has a mild black pepper aroma. The eye is Slighltly cloudy pale with a nice white head. First taste is pretty good load of pepper, its almost farmy but not. Good level of co2. Yes, if you are a lager lover and want to try a real craft beer, this may be for you. There is very little annoying rudeness in this and I do get the farm ale craft attributes presented here. The going here is good. 3 week old pint can A: Very little head atop a clearish medium gold body. S: Little aroma either except some woody malt notes. T: Tart fruity hops feature berries and maybe a tropical aspect. Woody, spicy rye malts with a balancing bit of sweetness and tart aftertaste. M: Average to stiff carbonation, medium body and a slick finish. O: Probably one of the better rye ales I've had though I'm not a big fan.
