Can only has best by date but is well within its range A: Brassy pale gold with a thick white head that fell fairly fast. S: Bready and floral notes with hints of herbs and fresh apple. T: Bitter hops hit first with herb and pine, then toasty bread and wood join for a balanced bittersweet end. M: Medium light with stiff carbonation and clean, slightly dry finish. O: Everything is in place to make this a balanced, great tasting pils.

Can stamped best by 08/27/23 so no fucking clue when this shit was brewed. A: Deep, dark amber pour with 1/2 of white foam. Decent retention. S: Some wood, a little pine and a whiff of orange citrus. T: More fruity than the nose with berries joining the citrus, and woody notes ending the sip. M: Prickly carbonation, very light, thin and clean. O: For 3.8% this is quite decent. Actually has some taste and balance. A good July beer.

New release with undecipherable date code on a pint can A: Clear amber gold with a short but lasting white head and pad. S: Mild grapefruit citrus and pungent funky herbs; almost oniony. T: lightly bitter citrus with sweet/tart berry notes and some wood. M: Coating prickly carbonation and light body with crisp clean finish. O: Interesting and quite tasty though the smell takes a minute to get used to.

Can stamped best by 7/23/23 so no idea of its age A: Clear pale pour with a short, fast falling white head, S: Orange and tangerine citrus and flowers over sugary wafer cookies. T: Bitter, sweet, dry and woody. Lemon lime citrus pith and zest give way to dry wood and lightly sweet toast or crackers. A lot going on. M: Smooth and a bit slick with active carbonation and medium body. O: Multifaceted flavor is interesting but has good balance. Very good.

Seems like a failed attempt to find a middle ground between a traditional West Coast IPA and a more modern take, along the lines of Basement IPA. Moderate juicy notes provide passion fruit and citrus, but the bitterness on the back end is discordant with the sweet middle. Just kinda muddled. Eh.
Clear golden body small foamy white head. Bready spicy aroma. Bready spicy flavor. Medium light body moderate carbonation. 6/3/6/3/13 3.1

Can stamped Best by 01/17/23 so freshness unclear A: Crystal clear pale gold with a tall thick beige head. Long retention and thick lacing. S: Tart floral and lime or orange citrus notes with light caramel or sandalwood sweetness. T: Bitter hops bring somewhat generic citrus flavor but somee orange and lime is still there from the nose along with crisp toasty malts. Very low caramel at the end. M: Light, crisp and well carbonated. Clean finish. High drinkability. O: Great aroma outshines the flavor a bit but a nice SIPA nonetheless.
