Bottle from press online around December. Fridge sleep for dry January & the usual lengthy flu.

Clear, if a touch foggy; Marigold, light soda lace.
Grassy, herbal, bittersharp, some significant berry notes on the nose.
Tart & earthy, sharp, obvious added malic acid, light oak. Lingering catty hops. Overall off-sweet, strong tartness with a grassy-catty astringency.
Refreshing but not all that sessionable.

Meh.

Rebranded as an heirloom... that easy, huh? 6% 750 from Press online, in their seasonal club. Probably should have checked what they were sending me. Clear, shiny, pale gold with a quick-hitting soda head. Smells of watered down McIntosh floral & something caramel-y. Taste is McIntosh, less then subtle acid added, lemon, salt & caramelized sugar with an nutty creme & butterscotch finish that isn't suppose to be there. Crispy, slick, semi-sweet, unnatural soda acid, sessionable abv. Despite that & the questionable awards, it drinks okay-ish.

Bottle to napkin rate from LetsPour dot com. Memories... Tulip pour. Pretty, clear, pale, golden bronze, bubbly body. Smell is full of sharp & tart, browned, macerated apples. Sharp & floral, reminiscent of quince. Quince makes great cider. A bit of a buttery aspect to the nose as well. Taste is more simple. Solid tartness upfont, followed by a rush of Sweet Tarts. Middle is grassy & crispy, with an ok amount of bitter woody tannins. Finishes dry & forgetful. Solid quad(& it smells very inviting), but maybe too tart & sweet upfront, without a whole lot backing it up.

Bottle. Clear bright golden color, champagne bubbles. Aroma of fresh apples, light dust, subtle lemon. Taste is fresh fruit, dry finish. Mouthfeel is slightly harsh from the carbonation - I’d like this one better if it were still. Pretty tasty anyway.

Pale gold. Sweet and lightly tart apple with light earth and citrus notes. Tart on the tongue as it finished dry. Nice cider. I really like the idea of using only one type of apple- much like the single hop beers.
