Draft at Kloby's Smokehouse. Thanks, Kim! Pours black, with a nice, foamy, tan head. The aroma is dark chocolate, Calvados, cinnamon, toffee, and lovely sherry. Fairly dry and malty, with a lovely, earthy bitterness. Heavy, syrupy, and thick. Nice, aggressive, and tasty.

16oz can.  Its pulp!  Head fades a little fast.  Nose is nice and high end.  Cheese curd and perfume and herbs. Floral.  Green citrus.  Lots happening.  This reads really high end.  Wheat and grist.  Feels well fermented.  Tropicals, grasses, green citrus.  Cheesy, cakey too.  Really love this.  Full, starchy, bitter, hot finish.  Great.  No other word.  8 8.5 9 8 8.5

12oz can. Fairly clear gold for a hazy IPA. Thick white head. Another can past it's prime. Nose has paper and dried orange peel, lemon candy. Dried herbs. Flavor is a touch better. Lemon lime soda, straw, flowers but it is papery. Thin finish. I bet there wasn't much happening to begin with and then it caught some age.

Can at the DCBeer bottle share. Poured a dark, opaque brown color with a wispy head. This beer had huge bourbon notes, big barley wine malt, light toast, and some sweetness. Woody, barrel, light wine and a touch of vanilla. Quite smooth, with a warming finish.
