11 ounces of a 22oz bottle, poured at home. Bottle purchased from Red Apron in the Mosaic District. Poured a golden yellow color with an off-white head. Aroma was floral character, grapefruit citrus. Flavor was light malt, caramel notes, lots of juicy hop character. Pretty tasty, smooth, and a touch boozy, but not heat thankfully.

On tap at World of Beer Reston, pours a clear copper orange with some creamy white head. Nose is a bit buttery, yeast, malt, straw, some root veg. Flavor has more root veg and more butter, some yeast, a little dough. Sort of creamy on the finish. A little odd.

22oz bottle from Norm’s pours a fairly murky orange with some fluffy, lacing white head. Nose has a blend of honey comb and orange, dried sticky orange juice, resin, malt. Flavor follows, chewy malts and pithy citrus, resinous, floral too. Sticky finish. Old school.
