Beautiful pink and ruby (of course!) coloured body with a bright pink glow like the outside of a dragonfruit, even complete with an almost white head, not as pure as the flesh of the aforementioned fruit, but close - very nice looking throughout. Aroma of cranberries, cherries, lemons, limes, yeast, light malt and a dash of biscuits, along with a touch of support from the wheat and coriander seed for freshness. Light to Medium-bodied; Very pungent and tart cranberries and pomegranate dominates with a lot of dryness as well from the very subdued malts and the fruit choices with some tart lime and citrus elements as well, all finishing with a kiss of sweetness and a very crisp but nuanced fruit bite that gives this a tart, but drying profile that lasts for quite a while. Aftertaste shows the dry and herbal qualities at first, but more of the smooth and nuanced wheat and coriander seed freshness that gives a nice balance for the soft and structured fruit that comes through as tart notes, both from the pomegranate and cranberries, but more from the limes. Overall, a very nice beer that's almost perfect for this day and for the season, even though it was marketed during the summertime, which is probably okay as well, but given how hot Thanksgiving's are here in Washington, this isn't a bad option! I sampled this sixteen ounce can, purchased from the Department of Beer and Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 25-September-2020 for US$4,76 sampled at my house here in Washington on 25-November-2020 as my wife and I prepare Thanksgiving dinner for the extended family.

Super hazy golden and peach coloured body with a nice, albeit relatively fast-dying off-white and tan head, about two centimetres tall. Aroma of citrus, grass, light resin, a dash of flowers, a good support of both malt and alcohol and some smooth mango notes - very nice in the nose. Full-bodied; Rich malty bite at first that shows the pungency along with a ton of citrus, flowers, resin, syrup and a very nice mango and tropical fruit flavour that has a tiny bit of alcohol warmth noticeable, but the resin and flowers cut through all of that and leave it very nice, complex, but somehow easy-to-drink. Aftertaste shows the strong hops throughout, but not really in terms of bitterness, but with fruitiness, resin and dryness, with the floral and grassiness showing at the tail end, but the syrupy richness of the resin reins supreme. Overall, a very nice beer throughout that has elements seemingly from every IPA style, but the way the tropical fruit flavours show stronger than the alcohol and malt make this very nice. A great beer to sample and well-recommended, especially if you can find it fresh! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from the Department of Beer and Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 17-July-2020 for US$4,49 sampled in my hotel room here in Newark, New Jersey on 25-July-2020.

Super crisp light golden coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall slightly off-white head that fades quickly. Aroma of grass, flowers, hay, earth, alcohol, light resin and a touch of grapes and white grape juice. Medium-bodied; Strong rich malt shows at first with the grapeand juice flavour right away, then some resin and dry pine, but a touch of sweetness from the fruit and jam showing at the end and making it fairly easy-to-drink. Aftertaste shows a soft fruit and sweet bite with a good amount of malt and dry hay, but a smooth hop characteristic showing a herbal and resinous bite with a fair amount of alpha acids, but not too bitter. Overall, a nice, refreshing and relatively easy-to-drink IPA that has a ton of fruit notes, but a smooth dry flavour with some bitterness and light alcohol, too. Nice to sample and recommended as an easy-to-drink, West-Coast-ISH ipa, if you can find it, drink it fresh! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 24-January-2020 for US$3,49 sampled the same day at home in Washington on 24-January-2020.

Tap at Berliner, dark, burnt gold, cloudy white head. Nose has orange, pineapple, melon, passionfruit. Flavor leans heavily on passionfruit and pineapple, tangerine maybe. Hard to find much more than the tropicals. Full body makes it drink bigger. 7 3 7 2 13

Lots of initial passion fruit and some milk lactose. Tangy finish that isn't wonderful. Pours murky orange with OK head. Tap at B-Side.

Draft at the Fairfax County Brewfest. Poured a hazy, dull orange color with a small, thick white head. Aroma was lots of funky yeast notes, some light juicy notes here. A touch soapy? Some strange yeast notes here that don't quite mesh for me. If it was a little drier... I think it'd hit the spot.

Draft at the Fairfax County Brewfest. Poured a clear yellow color, slight tinge here. Medium sized white head. Aroma was cereal grains, smells like a brewery on Brew day. Creamy malts, some light crispness. Very light noble hop notes.
