$3.49 bottle, TWG. Slightly hazy gold, some floaters, white head. Smells like a cheap lager with a hint of citrus. Flavor is bitter citrus peel, honey, yeast, chalk. Dry, somewhat unpleasant.

Nice, slightly deep copper coloured body with a raw honey glow and a very thin, relatively large bubbled tan head that fades very quickly. Aroma of pure grape must, oak, dry grain and hay with a little dash of grass and some funk at the tail end. Medium-bodied; Deep effervescent profile at first that shows a dry oaky and pure crisp, biscuity bite, with a light dose of sugars, mainly from the fruit, but also a touch of honey noticeable at the end, with a bit of alcohol and some funk at the very tail end. Aftertaste is clean, very drying from the oak and light malts, but also from the grasses, yeast and especially the grape must, but all is quite strong throughout. Overall, a deep and pungent beer with a very dry profile with some light sweetness from the grapes, but shows more nicely as a saison than a 'brut' IPA, but good to try, none-the-less. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Pentagon City (Arlington), Virginia on 05-April-2019 for US$1,99 sampled at my house here in Washington, a few blocks away, on 03-June-2019.

Draft pour at Mustang Sally. Poured more of an amber ruby color than anything else, without much of a head. It was small and wispy, with a tinge of gray to it. Aroma was solid cherry skins. It was tart, but not overly sour. Flavor had a little bit of pucker here and a light cherry finish.

Draft pour at Mustang Sally. Poured a slightly cloudy yellow color with a small, white head with decent lacing. Aroma was some nutty, humidor notes. Light toasted malts. Creamy and slightly sweet. Maybe something I would think is more like an APA than an IPA, but maybe that's just me.

A hat trick is defined as an achievement of a positive feat three times in a game. For most people in America, it is most often associated with ice hockey where a player scores three goals in a single game. This event has been 14 years in the making for me, more than just three times, but 10 thousand times. Think of that number for a moment. That's not a number I ever thought I would ever achieve, especially as a young man in 2005 when I started my account on this website. With the proliferation of breweries, it's easier than ever to get to this point, but I do find pride in keeping track of each and every one of these beers/cider/mead/sake/etc on here. Some were quite memorable, and others I grasp at straws to remember what they looked like or what they tasted like. I'd like to think that I'll remember this one fondly for quite some time. When I started the day, I didn't have a 10k beer in mind, but when I saw the name and how much this term strikes a cord in my loving wife, who's first love may be hockey, with me being a close second, I knew this should be the beer that hits this milestone. This one poured a clear yellow-orange color with a small white head. Aroma was a ton of tropical fruit, pineapple. This was super juicy, with a little bit Super juicy. There was a kind of funky yeast character here, with some light, resin, but not overly bitter. Grapefruit and sweetness were quite pleasant here. Very refreshing.

Draft pour at Mustang Sally Brewing Company. Poured a pale light orange color with a small white head. Aroma was lots of apple character, light salt, some mild tartness. Mild, smoked malts. Not overly smoky, which was really pleasant. Light bacon?
