Dull amber. No head. Vaguely crackery malt, crackery malt on the palate. Somewhat dry, but there's no real malt development here.

On tap at the brewery. Dull tan, sort of a dull malt profile. This is a pretty limited beer.

Straw colour with haze, this mosaic is earthy...the pale malts ok, maybe a bit doughy. Doesn't project any klsch character.

Not a bad beer--pretty good, actually--just not a kolsch in any way other than the name. Loads of juicy Mosaics provide berry, citrus, and herbal notes, while the grainy malts provide a subtle cereal sweetness underneath. Very light and sippable, yet the crisp, subtle balance between clean malts and bright Noble bitterness normally found in the style is trampled by the abundant 'Murrican hop overload.

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a finger of creamy foam. Just a kolsch. Soft carbonation, dry mouthfeel with a touch graininess. lingering grainy finish. Bitter....light mosaic character. --- Beer merged from original tick of Mosaic IPK on 18 Aug 2017 at 20:48 - Score: 6. Original review text: Just a kolsch. Tap @ Flyte, Nashville. Blonde, hoppy with a dirty citrus taste. Lemon and grapefruit are here.

Can Clear light yellow body with a generous white head. The aroma has some light grass, spicy hops. The flavor is lightly bitter with a subtle malt balance. Decent beer.
