Pour is a cloudy blonde with a large white head. Aroma is a grainy and husky malt. Flavor is about the same. Very light and soft mouthfeel with no real hops showing up other than a bitterness on the back end. Just barely OK.

Can pour at the brewery. It’s an opaque black with cap of beige head with decent retention and no lacing. Thin sheets of trub (look like coconut flakes) at the bottom of the glass. Aroma and taste are similar—roasted malt, coffee and mild chocolate. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, it sounds like a lot went into this beer but I'm not getting many of those complex flavors. Just OK.

Half pour on tap at the brewery. It's a lightly hazy golden yellow with nice sparkle, thin cap of off-white head and nice lacing. Aroma is wheat, pepper, light spice and hint of citrus. Taste follows aroma. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, the pepper adds a nice little wrinkle to the style. Well made.

Half pour on tap at the brewery. It's a clear red-dark amber with nice sparkle, cap of creamy beige head with good retention and nice lacing. Aroma is typical sweet grainy malt. Taste follows aroma bordering on caramel. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, a competent version of the style.

Half pour on tap at the brewery. It's a very pale yellow with no sparkle, thin ring of white head and no lacing. Aroma is subtle pilsner malt. Taste is stronger version of aroma. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin texture, soft-to-average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, nothing bad about it but quite subtle.

Cherry, caramel malt, and weedy hay aroma. Dark amber with moderate tan head. Moderately sweet cherry, caramel rye malt, and mildly bitter fresh hay and mineral flavor. Okay body. Nice.
