Pour is a clear orange with a large white head. Aroma is a pine hop with plenty of basil coming off the beer. Flavor is more a herbal spice with a large sweetness. Finish is more of the spice with some sugar. Decent mix with the basil and hops playing off each other but this is way too sweet for my liking.

Pour is a cloudy, milky yellow with a large white head. Aroma is of fresh berries. Flavor is a nice berry, maybe a little smokiness and some citrus tartness. I don’t know what a bilberry looks like or even taste like but this was a pretty mild berry flavor and it left a slight tartness. This was a decent beer that refreshed on a warm summer day.

Keg at the Royale - St. Louis. Pours clear copper with a creamy, off-white head. The nose holds toasted grains, faint caramel. Light-medium sweet flavor with some earthy bitterness, husky grains, toasted caramel, bread, leaves, faint pine. Medium bodied with average carboantion. Finishes with a bit of oily pine, orange rind, diesel, more grains and bread, understated toast and toffee. Not bad overall.

Pour is a dark amber with a small white head. Aroma is pure sugar with a minor hop. Flavor is pure sugar sweetness. Lots of sweet caramel malt and then the sugar they used pushes the sweetness to epic levels. The sweetness way overpowers anything the hops bring to the point they are almost non-existent. Alcohol is here in a big way also. This is a super sweet boozy mess.

Pour is a clear yellow with a large white head. Aroma is plenty of saison yeast with a very decadent but not overpowering sweetness from the honey malt. Flavor is more of the saison yeasty fruity esters with a dull almost grain husk with sweetness to follow. Did not get much or any of the lemon but as a saison on its own this is pretty good. Plenty of yeasty floral esters to go around.

Growler, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of ginger - maybe a touch of sweetness. Flavour is along the same lines, with spicy ginger upfront. Nothing very interesting. The ginger isn't super fresh or complex. Average.

Growler, pours a murky orange with a all beige head. Aroma and flavour of bready notes, some faded vegetal notes and just enough hops. Boring stuff. Nothing much going on here. Meh.
