Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a very dark brown with orange highlights and a medium sized creamy beige head that left decent lacing. The aroma was nutty, malty and a bit musty. The flavor was dryish, nutty and malty with a presence that was reminiscent of body odor. Medium length finish. Medium body. Odd but ok.

Tap industry. Dark like cola but not black like most impy stouts. Smell is odd leather saddle, somewhat like leather mixed with caramel. Taste is big & strong and in yer face. Its like a strong American dark ale fer sure. Yes, a kick ass beer that tastes just a little like aged barley wine. Not sure if this rises to true impy stout style or not but it is what it is.

Yes, on tap at bocktown. Clear and mostly pale but ha a slightly orange tint. Fruity mild smell. Odd fruit first impressions then a tartness sets in. Has a very unique leather backbone that I cannot identify, and its not the cranberries. Good cutting co2 bite on this one.
