Insanely malty marzen right here but that is what it promises and delivered. Reddish amber and clear. Nose is Malty and light indiscriminate fruit. Tastes of malt, earth, leaf litter, caramel, and again some sort of fruit. Crisp and clean.

After two hour drive with traffic nothing like a fresh pils to get my mind right. Fine golden pour small white head that dissipated quickly. Nose is light floral hops. Tastes semi floral, yeast and dry malt. Straight forward and crisp enough.

12oz bottle pours out pale crisp straw topped with a white head. Nose is light corn cereal some grain and sweetness. Taste is more of the sweet corn grain malts and a touch of grass.

Craft beer to attract Bud drinkers, I guess. Pours a bright gold, decent head, no lace. Aroma is lager-like, corn and wheat, not all that appealing. Taste lands straight in pale lager territory, mild corn-wheat sweetness mixing with yeasty bread and no hops whatsoever. Feel is decent, but nothing else is. Give it to your uncle when he visits and bitches about all the "weird beer" in your fridge.

Not a bad porter, or "German-style black ale", or whatever the hell you want to call it. (But come on. It’s a porter.) Pour is mediocre, a decent cola-ish brown with modest lacing despite the fleeting head. Nose comes across with straightforward porter notes, dark malt and chocolate. Taste follows suit, big roasted unsweetened chocolate with a mild coffee undertone, some restrained apricot-apple fruitiness popping up on the back end. Grows dry on the fade, hops adding to the mocha vibe. Texture could use some beefing up. Not a classic, but very drinkable.

Solid version of a wimpy style, smooth and semisweet with a corn-laced pale graininess leading to a mild fade with doughy yeast underneath the modest bitterness. Could it use more hops? Sure, but it’s a cream ale. Doesn’t taste like canned corn juice, which is a victory in my book. Pretty, too.
