Tap at Kaapse festival. Clear golden with small white head. Dank fruity hops with passionfruit, star fruit, sour mango, light grains, gooseberries, cow sweat, soft herbs. Very light sweet, under medium sour and bitter. Medium bodied with slick feel and slight dry finish.

Botella 33 CL en el Gato que bebía cerveza Valladolid 14..05..2019. (r01). Color amarillento dorado velado con espuma blanca persistente. Sabores maltosos con buena dosis de lupulados maduros que acaban en resinosos ligeramente florales y secos. Se quieren ver recuerdos de las hace ya tiempo tomadas perro serpiente de la casa americana. Cuerpo ligero a medio fácil de beber con bastante sabor. Una ipa como las de antes con pocos o casi ningún afrutado. Refrescante, para repetir.

Caña en el Kraken 18..04.. 2019. (r04). Color oscuro casi negro turbio con espuma beige. Sabores maltosos con toques suaves afrutados y herbales dominando las maltas y cereales tostadas. Cuerpo medio con bastante sabor quedándose algo seco al final. Original, buena.

33 cl bottle bought at La Pirata Malasaña, served in a very large snifter. It pours so dark a shade of brown that you could swear it's jet black, with a very short-lived moka-colored head. Aroma is coffee (but of course!), chocolate and vanilla. Oh yeah, mutha. Much lighter in the mouth than expected, this is actually quite easy-going and easy-swallowing: fresh, light, even somewhat watery. Thank God it's very long-lasting and rather bitter with even more hints of -oh, no wonder: espresso coffee. Well done, my friends.

33 cl bottle served in large snifter. It pours dark brown, almost black, with a short-lived tan head. Aroma is quite high: bitter orange, dark chocolate, herbs, ginger. Fresh, quite light-bodied, neither very bitter nor very long-lasting. Simple but nice.
