33 cl bottle served in a very large snifter. It pours glossy jet black, thick as ink, totally headless. Aroma is chocolate milkshake, capuccino, vanilla ice cream. Taste is slightly sweet and rather bitter, but in a very good balance. Mouthfeel is dense and velvety, slowly moving through the mouth towards a very long finish. It makes a fine dessert to pair with your coffee and chocolate.

33 cl bottle served in red wine glass. It pours cloudy dark amber with an ash-grey, sticky, medium-lasting head. Aroma is quite true to the name of the beer: a lot of tropical fruit (mango, banana, passionfruit, papaya) and some sliced bread. Mouthfeel is light-bodied, slightly watery, almost no carb. Taste is crisp and very bitter. Not very long-lasting.

33 cl bottle served in large snifter. It pours clear coppery, with a thick, long lasting, off-white head. Aroma is intense: pie, grapefruit, cough drop, red apple. It tastes slightly sweet at the beginning, then quite crisp as it goes through the mouth, to finish very bitter as you swallow it. Long- lasting and full-bodied.

On tap at La Pirata Malasaña. It pours hazy pale golden with a snow-white, long-lasting head. Aroma is loads of citrus fruits and fresh grass. Mouthfeel is slick and soft. Taste is fresh, crisp and very bitterish. Nice.

330ml bottle bought at L'Abadia de Benidorm, shared with Finn back home. A deep rosewood coloured body, spotty lacing from an off-white head. Malt-driven smell with toffee. Almond, earth, and toffee flavours alongside a jam-like touch. Ends malt-fruity, rather sweet. Mouth filling. Satisfying, a bit heavy to drink. (Tromsø 26.04.2019).

On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma leggera e poco persistente. Al naso note di mela verde, acetaldeide, plastica, ossidazione netta, nessuna traccia del contributo della botte. In bocca è dolce, ossidata, si fa fatica a finire il bicchiere. Corpo pieno, carbonazione leggera. Birrificio decisamente sopravvalutato. Lavandinato.
