Bottle during RBWG. Pours a cloudy red copper with small off white head. The aroma is hairspray and plastic. Medium mouth with light tart cherry and plastic. Best cib beer on the trip.

Sampled during RBSG. From notes. Hmmm, wtf?!? It’s like someone filled a green pepper with sour patch kids and I took a bite...

Tasting at Ferris’, batch 2, bottle 192
Dark brown color, near black, brownish head. Fruity and sour aroma. Sourish flavor, a bit chocolatey, definitively fruity.
Not bad.

750mL bottle, pours a dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma brings out notes of smoke, leather, coffee, and sour notes - not cohesive at all. Flavour is quite terrible, but not a disaster somehow, with notes of coffee, wild yeast, sour notes, and vomit. Man, this is bad, but certainly not quite as bad as the overall rating suggests.

750mL bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany / dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma brings out some nail polish, ketchup-y chili, vegetal notes, and vinegar. Flavour is actually not that terrible, with notes of celery and other vegetable notes, and vinegar. Lots of off-notes, but not actually as offensive as the average rating suggests. Certainly not good and barely drinkable, but not so abhorrently terrible.

Bottle - Ketchup, malts and some weird chilli. Cleanish brown copper with a decent light brown head. Tart, again some chilli and weird caramel, ketchup you notes. Not bad, but not good.

750mL shared by PrufRock, brought this rare... um.. treat all the way from Hawkeye country. So, what the heck is a Trippel IPA? Also, why is it murky brown in color. Overcarbonated head. The beer is like vegetable dirty condom aroma...?
