Can - pours a viscous deep black, with a moderate dark tan lace - really nice balance between the sweetness of the maple, the bitterness and roast of the coffee, and the earth, floral/sweet vanilla - not abrasive (as often happens with a beer with so much coffee in it), nor boozy (as is often the case with such high anv) - but it is hefty and full enough to encourage slow sipping - hearty and delicious.

Pint can from Granzellas. Hazy yellow pour with a big white head. Nose is lightly sweet, citrus and tropicals. Flavor is not overly sweet, which is a good thing. Light citrus sweetness and mild bitters. The wheat component is different than mainstream; not sure that is a compliment in this case.

On tap at Beer Zombies in Vegas. 12oz goblet. 6minute slow, settling pour warning. Sticky lacy, mostly settled, clear light honey pour. Faint white bread nose. Nothing special Taste is saltine dry, with a soft but persistent pine & copper bitterness. Very clean. Fluffy, airy texture, soft but ample carbonation. Booze is average to somewhat distracting. I get bored sometimes. This is that.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours clear, bright gold with a moderate white head. Aroma of grass/spice with a hint of bready support. Med body. Flavor is grass/spice, some acceptable breadiness, and a touch of mandarin. Pretty dry. Decently bitter. Good drink.

16 oz can poured, brought home from 595 in Las Vegas. Cool to find a beer from these guys while out traveling elsewhere. A moderately hazy golden orange appearance with a rocky foam head. Aroma is a unique tropical fruit, subtle, with some gentle biscuit grain to pair. Flavor really matches on tropical fruit notes. Has a distinct stone fruit character. It's a touch sweet up front, but finishes on a cool, pine like note. This is a really refreshing and easy drinking double. The can screams west coast, but this comes off as a fun hybrid to me. It's unique and very enjoyable. Very much on board with this brew. Gets more refreshing with every sip.

Capped 500 from Nugget Market in Woodland, CA. Pours dark brn/blk with a dark rusty/tan head. Aroma is very nice coffee over sweetish burnt malt. Full bodied. Flavor is very nice coffee over sweetish burnt malt with a little chocolate and a fair amount of earth notes. Heat for sure, but it is not obnoxious - adds to flavor and balance. Good flavor.
