Bottle from Beer Run. Hazy pale yellow, thin fizzy white head, fair retention. Aroma of sweet apples, tea, floral notes, honeydew. Taste is tart apple, spice, floral notes, earth. Medium bodied, lingering spice.

On tap in Portsmouth at the German Bier Garten, pours a hazy gold with a faint ring of white head. Nose had apples, lemon, some yeast, mild perfume. Flavor is well balanced, apple juice, tart apple skins, some lemon, floral notes, yeast is prevalent. Crisp and dry finish. Refreshing and nicely done.

Half liter bottle from Wine Warehouse. Hazy pale chalkish yellow. Aroma of huge sulfur notes, dry apples, coriander. Very offensive. The taste is heavy salt, heavy coriander, mango. Potters is great, but this one is a miss.

Tap at draft taproom. Pours pinkish with a soft white head. Aroma of grapefruit, dusty flowers. Flavor is quite bitter: grapefruit, crabapple, light earth. Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

50cl bottle at home pours a dark gold, no head. Nose has apple juice, earthy apple cores, hints of wood and spice. Flavor has apple and honey, a little neutral wood, some buttery notes, a little flinty. Finishes dry, light acid. Clearly got color from the barrel, but not much else.

375mL bottle from Beer Run. Hazy straw lemon yellow, thin fizzy head that quickly fades. Aroma of strong ginger and sweet apples. The taste is strong ginger and tart apples. A bit of pear and vinegar. Medium bodied, lingering tartness.

Keg at Beer Run. Clear golden. Beautiful aroma that’s a delicate and perfect combination of pine and apple. The taste is bitter and tart apple followed by juniper and hints of spruce. Medium, low carbonation, dry.

375ml bottle at the December 2016 DC area cider tasting. Interesting light vanilla cookie character. Apple, sweet syrup notes, light spicy notes - not sure exactly what it might be. Kind of liked it.

Bottle at the RateBeer DC Cider tasting. Clear golden yellow. Aromas of apples, honey, light oak. Tastes of apples, oak, champagne. Light body with a dry finish.
