Single from the Brew Shop in Arlington. Lo-ball at home. Stinky sulfur over a cherry-apple juice box. Clear magenta, cherry-pink, flash of soda head. Tart cherry-apple juice box, cream sherry, root beer, strong citric acid, heavy sulfite tail. Industrial all the way. Thin, fizzy, a bit hot. Forgettable.

You need about three sips before you understand what you are drinking. It's a cider with gronk-size pecs.

$2.20 single from Appalachian. Clear Solo cup back at home on Friday Night chatz. Clear, filtered, pale gold, soda head. Onion-y, gin, veg, sour fruit nose. Kinda trash. Thin, lightweight, acidic & sharp apples, big bittergreen lettuce, perfume-y floral semi-sweet back end. Comes off like skunky hop water. Strong carbonation. Big plus. Decent enough pounder for the price.

Four pack from Appalachian, last one, they wouldn't break it up for singles... Clear Solo cup at home. Clear, pale gold, almost no head. Earthy, sweet & sharp, grassy, bitter veg nose. Fruity-floral & sharp apples, earthy, pretty tart & acidic, with a perfume-y simcoe & a touch of confectionery, lingering lemon, scrubbed with a bit of yeast. Dry to off-brut, high acid, low to mid soda carb, pushy abv. Solid+.

Pint can from Appalachian. Clear Solo cup, still no potable water 4+ weeks since the hurricane. Pours clear, golden pale, lingering froth. Soft, acidy apple & mango with a subtle earthy coffee nose. Taste is tart & soapy apples, very little discernible mango, very soft floral & a decently strong lemon tea astringency. The coffee is bashful & quietly shows it's earthy chocolate tone & disappears before the lemon tea is even in play. Acidic, plenty tart, thin, astringent, middle high seltzer carbonation & very little abv noise. Surprisingly good. Went in expecting this to be terrible.

Added a picture to this weak listing. $2.49 single from Whole Paycheck. Pint glass at home. Clear, crispy, active, medium gold with a whatever head. Creamy, bitter floral, marzipan, sweet skin nose. Bittersharp, nice. Crispy, strong tannins, background tartness, curious lingering orange, fortified honey booziness in the middle, bittersweet skin backslap on the tail. A little Vegimite strangely. Still crispy. Not standout boozy. Tastes like they added something though. Bone dry cider with aromatics ala Shacksbury. This is good filler material & in happy but they're cheating rather than go though the effort of making it better.
