Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is spicy saison yeast with pale malt, peppery notes, grass, bit fruity with a touch of citrus, lemon, hint of funk. Flavour is mild sweet and bitter. Body is medium. A very fine well-brewed Saison, all bases covered, and for me a pleasant introduction to this Portugese brewery.

Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is hops and malt with a mild fruitiness, hints of tropical fruits, notes of orange and pine. Flavour is moderate sweet and above medium bitter. Body is medium. Decent, could have used an extra load of hops. *** Revisit. A bit better this time, nice bitterness.

Second round for this beer that I have shared with my wife, on saturday, after a busy day and a show with my daughter. Best before 11/24, tasty pale ale or on the way of a neipa, a bit sour this time, carbonated, dry malt, grapefruit, citrus, bitter. 20.01.25

From tap at Ferraria Tap Room, Sintra. Solid Pils! Nicely bitter and dry. Grainy malts, noble hop finish. Medium body. Loved it, it was the perfect beer for the sunny setting.

From tap at Bo Brewpub, Lisboa. Grainy malt aroma, straw, cereal malts. Some noble hops in the finish. Light sweet and moderate bitter. Medium body. Easy grainy Kölsch-style beer.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Fairly strong tobacco with dark malt, roast, caramel, burnt malt. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a firm bitterness. Medium body. A bit chalky, lacks a bigger body.
