On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear reddish amber with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of grass and grains with a bit of pine bitterness and straw supporting. Flavor is full of bitter pine and grains with a bit of grapefruit and grass underlying.

Sample size at Dayblock. nothing exciting here, but for an American example of the style, it is ok. Yellow color, low hop profile, but there is some palate and malt flavor, and good carbonation.

Taster tray size at the brewpub. Yellow color, it smells like it is going to be very sweet, it also smells like a Belgian ale. Moderately aweet, grain, and i agree with the bubblegum flavor also. This is ok.

Sample size pour.black beer. Moderate to heavy roast, i thought this was dry and surprised t see it labeled as a sweet stout. Secwnt palate but nothing new here.

Sammple size at the brewery. Gold color. Light hops in tje aroma, lightly sweet malt, more hops in the flavor. Well balanced, ok for a session pale ale.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a amber gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of rye with sweet blackberry underlying. Flavor has bread and strong rye with some sweet blackberries in the finish.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear copper amber with a tan head that dissipates it the edges. Aroma has sweet grains with hints of biscuit, bread and grass supporting. Flavor is similar with sweet grains throughout with crisp straw and bread underlying.

Sampled from the tap at Pints and Posters. Pours a clear deep gold with a white head that dissipates completely. Aroma has lots of straw and hay with some bread u underlying. Flavor has lots of straw and grains with a decent amount of hay.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy citrus with a touch of grapefruit and with a sweet grain backing. Flavor has musty/earthy citrus with an earthy grain backbone.

On tap at Day Block. Pours near black with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma combines sweet dark grains with dark coffee and a bit of sweet chocolate. Flavor has lots of sweet dark grains and chocolate with growing roast and some bitter coffee.
