.5l draft Willebecher at the brewpub in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The pour is a hazy yellow golden with a minimal white head. The aroma is floral hay grass, along with the Saison and Hefe yeast notes as advertised. The taste is a crisp clean blend of the Hefeweizen flavors, wheat grain, lemon citrus, and slight banana melded with the floral herbal Saison under that. The palate is light bodied with an unfiltered mouth feel and a crisp herbal finish. My kind of beer, well made.

Pint at the brewery - apparently they put "locally foraged pine growth" in this, and it shows - tastes like a damn pine tree - also has a rather.high woody hop.character and finishing bitterness - not a mild at all - notes of sandlewood and spice - actually not a bad beer as I get through the pint, just not a mild.in the least, and.needs to dial back the pine.
