Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours black with a creamy brown head that lasts throughout the beer and laces. Aroma has lots of roasted malts and dark grains with a nice oak and a bit of coffee underlying. Flavor combines smooth oak and roasted malts with a growing dark grain note and a bit of bitter coffee.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear amber orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy citrus and flora with a bit of grass and a sweet grain backbone. Flavor is full of sweet citrus backed by sweet grains and a hint of bitter grass.

Copper color. Very bitter. Lots of citrus and a dry, bitter finish. Some malt sweetness. This is the best of their beers that I tried.
