Description
2025: New location, opening soon.
Bad Beat Brewing opened in July 2014 by Nathan Hall born out of his love of poker and craft beer. Never one to shy away from a gamble, Nathan sold his house and spent every dollar in his bank account to fund his dream. A Bad Beat in the poker world means you’re the underdog and starting a craft brewery in Las Vegas is definitely against the odds.

Bright gold, medium head. Mild character, a touch of graininess. Ok, as cream ales go.

One of those ur-weisse type, by colour, nice aroma…mostly banana, a touch of of clove. Clean plate, creamy, balanced, light wheat in the finish. Well done…I don’t always add the weizen to a flight but I had a good feeling and my gut was right.

Deep gold and quite bright. Maybe a touch of toastiness, and that hard snap of a dry finish I often get from foeder lagers. But with more sugars. And low bitterness. The foeder influence makes a dull beer a bit more interesting

Dullish opaque, medium head. Creamy body, lowish bitterness. Interesting hop nose. But it fades on the palate.

Bright pale gold. More on the sweet side, malts are okay, not what i want in an IPA.
