Bottle split at RB Best Hotel Lobby Share, post festival, 31/01/16. Hazed amber with a decent off white head. Nose is bitter orange, straw, caramel, light pine whisper. Taste comprises orange pith, apricot, pine needle, caramel malt, biscuit. Medium bodied, fine carboation, drying close with earthy hop bitterness. So so for style ... pretty subdued stuff.

Thanks Frank.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a hazy muddled gold color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head. Quickly dieing off, there’s some light messy lace.
The aroma had some sweet citrus, subtle pine and a decent malt backbone.
The flavor shouldered the sweetness from the combination of the previously mentioned aromas. Sly crisp sweet citrus/piney aftertaste. Quick semi-dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it, being for a DIPA, weird, but I didn’t mind it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt right where it should be.
Overall, nice DIPA for the most part, worthy of more pours if I could get again.
