Bottle - Dark bourbon barrel notes and some chocolate. Jet black with a small brown head. Dark bourbon, heat and boozy heat. Big beer.

Bottle at the RBSG Lobby Share. Pours black with small beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is bourbon and roast. Thick body, chewy roast, cocoa, wood, bourbon, very nice.

Sample at the brewpub. Slightly hazy amber-gold color with a thin white head that burns away quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of strawberry, wheat and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of strawberries, crackery malt and a bit of spice. The finish is fruity with a berry aftertaste. Decent overall.

Medium body with flavors of fruity yeast, malt, hops and a bit of spice. The finish is fruity and spicy with a yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours a clear copper-amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Citrus, hops and malt in the nose. Light to medium body with flavors of resiny hops, citrus and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Above average overall.
