Bottle from the chap who played with it, my 2021 US Secret Santa, Brad (Alexsdad06). Drank on18th February 2022 at my daughters in Laguna Hills. Almost black bodied, tight head of tanned bubbles. The vanilla beans and barrel aging agree nicely with the lactose and blueberries to produce a smooth, mellow beer that oozes booze with a coffee/chocolate edge and a caramel sweetness. Lovely, cheers Brad!

Orange, mango, biscuit malt, and earthy grapefruit peel aroma. Hazy golden yellow with giant white head. Moderately sweet orange, pineapple, mango, biscuit malt, and mildly bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Okay body. Decent - quaffable.

Can from total wine while visiting NC. Wow, in the glass it has a lighter shade of pale haze. Nice foamy head. Oooohh, first taste is a little bitter, like any APA but it then seems to mellow as it soaks in. Perhaps I thot I detected a little bit of that immature brewer sharp bite, but probably not. Its just the hops. Less than 5% alky content makes the bitterness a little easier to take. In the middle it almost becomes a decent session brew. BTW, the nose is slight hop perfume. Finally in the finish it has a slight hoppy creaminess ending about it with a decent amount of co2. For an ale, not bad I guess.

12 oz from the Brewvana 12 Beers of Christmas Advent box. Day 12. Aroma has notes of biscuit, clove, bubblegum, sulfur. Pours nearly clear pale golden with a one finger bone white head with decent retention. Taste is sweet and spicy with some acidity and flavors like the aroma descriptors. Nice creamy mouthfeel. Good wit.

Got this can at kroger in cincy oh, says its a collab with great lakes. Big dark brown beer with a head that is like tan choco moose. First, it pisses me off because as soon as I pop the lid it foams all over my kitchen and wont stop, even after I get to the sink it keeps squirting all over the place.. What a big dark beer mess all over the place, wife will not be happy. Smells like any other porter, deep an malty. Flavor is certainly coffee laden porter, like many coffee stouts. At first I don't detect the cayenne but near the middle I think I'm getting some heat, not much. Quite boozy too. Does not hide its alky content. Could use a little more co2 but I guess I lost it on the pop when it went squirting on open. In the end its not much more than a high alky porter, maybe even a little baltic in nature.

Can from kroger in cincy. Hoping this stuff is really wit beer. Pours like wit, smells like wit. Taste is rather mild like wit, with some of that coriander thing going on. Even keeled with just a tad of that processed feel going on in there. Not bad, even has some hefe attributes in the flavor. I'd say its more on style than most other domestic beers that call themselves wit or beldjy whites. Could be a little more civilized like the real old country stuff.

Pours hazy gold with minimal head and a mainly strawberry aroma. Itβs lightly tart with a generous dose of strawberries. Straightforward and refreshing, itβs fairly good overall.
