About
Located in a former roadside speakeasy on US Route 50 heading west into the city of Cincinnati, Fifty West Brewing Company first opened its doors in November of 2012. Since then, one thing has remained the same. Every time you have a Fifty West beer, you know it was handmade in small batches with a focus on the four virtues we hold closest to our hearts: craftsmanship, tradition, innovation, and patience.

Pour is like a light lager. Decent smell. First taste is a refreshing surprise. Easy drinking lighter brew with an slight citrus wild beer attitude. Better than expected, friendly easy sizzle with would I say tart refreshing taste. Yes, would like a case of these. Can I say this stuff is nearly delightful? Pleasant over all lager beer drinking experience. Yep! Good job fitty on this version of beer. Pretty, like a fine unflavored berliner, no lie?

16 oz can from Tavour. Hazy pour, small collar of white head. Aroma is, as expected, citrusy,on the lemon spectrum. Taste is more sweet than tart but super smooth. Creamy almost, lacto? Think of lemon meringue pie, with a bit of malt sneaking through . Not that tart....
