Rating #4,000. 12 oz tulip draft at the Fifty West Brewing Co. in Cincinnati, Ohio. The pour is black with a light tan head and great lace. The aroma is roast, pine and a bit of citrus fruit. The taste is a nice blend of the clean roast malt and the fresh pine bright hoppiness. Simple flavors, clean and fresh with nice balance. The palate is medium to light bodied with active natural carbonation and a clean crisp dry mineral roast finish. Menu description spot on. Real tasty.

Approximately 12 oz goblet draft at the Fifty West Production Works in Cincinnati, Ohio. The pour is a light hazed orange golden with a small white head that has great lace. The aroma is caramel malt along with floral resin. The taste is the caramel grain malt first, followed closely by the resin floral hop, warming alcohol towards the back. The palate is medium bodied with lower carbonation and a resin dry warming finish. Solid IPA.

Sample at The Ohio Taproom during the "Taproom Local Love: Kindred Pigs" event on 10/23/2016. Murky reddish-orange color with a medium off-white head that dissipates gradually. Stringy lacing. Caramel, malt and hops in the nose. Light to medium body with flavors of caramel malt, fruit and mild hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft - Coriander and soft wheat. Cloudy gold with no head. Salty up front, coriander, soft wheat and a salty finish. Maybe too much salt without a tartness or anything to balance.
