Taster at Dirt Farm. Dark amber / reddish pour, small bubbly head. Malty aroma, sweet, toffee. Taste brings light leathery notes to the mix, and some dry bitterness towards the finish. Really solid read ale.

Tap at the brewery taproom in Virginia. A light hazed yellow straw coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is corn, dirty grains, grass. Rustic. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, corn, grainy, grass corn. Little rough round the edges. Palate is crisp light tart, highish carbonation.

Tap at the brewery taproom in Virginia. A mid brown coloured pour with a sticky beige head. Aroma is semi sweet, nutty roast burnt grass, some alcohol. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded, mild roast, grass, chocolate malts, some alcohol. No punch. Easy. Palate us semi sweet nutty, moderate carbonation.
