Description
We are a family-owned farm brewery founded in 2012 (opened in 2015). From plow to pint, our focus is small batch hand crafted beer with fresh ingredients.
Comfortably nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Bluemont, Virginia, our 10bbl brewhouse delivers traditional brewing style ales and many unigue farm fresh seasonals. The name "Dirt Farm" pays homage to our farming heritage that spans three generations in Loudoun County. We are grateful to work and play surrounded by our family and friends. We welcome you to bring yours here to the farm.

From a 750ml bottle shared by DCLawyer, thanks Jason! Poured a kind of dark cola color with a small off-white head. Aroma was roasted malts. Very mild chocolate. Alcohol pretty well masked here. Pretty tasty.

Crowler: pours hazy amber with an off white head. Aroma is biscuits and hints of caramel... very Itish ale. Low carbonation. Smooth body. Low hops. Slightly sweet. Pretty chuggable. Not super exciting but does the trick.

32oz crowler pours a clear, dark orange nearing amber with very little white head. Nose is orange and caramel, mild spice, some paper. Smells and tastes a little beer-y. Flavor is a little flabby, black tea, orange, a little chewed bubblegum. Flabby finish. Meh.

32oz crowler pours a dark orange... OK, itβs brown, with some foamy, nearly tan head. Nose has orange, orange peel, pine, soap, candy, perhaps some out of place butterscotch. Flavor is heavier with sweetness, brown sugar, candy, some butterscotch, candied orange. Finishes full bodied, sweet and only slightly bitter. Doesnβt read 108IBUs at all. More of an American Strong Ale, akin to Arrogant Bastard, than a true DIPA.
