Booze!!! La vanille et le boisé prennent le dessus au nez. Les prunes et le raisin en bouche... Ok pour le style mis dans cette gamme, leur IPA est bien meilleure!

Pours a clean golden colour with a big white head, very good retention and foamy lacing. Fresh aromas of hops with notes of grapefruits, oranges and mild grass. The taste has the citrus, but a little light, still creating some good bitterness. Easy to drink with some decent herbal and fruity characteristics. A good session IPA.

Bon, je me suis encore fait avoir par la belle étiquette... La Hickson IPA est vraiment très bonne mais celle-ci me laisse franchement indifférent ;( Tout est moyen.

Bouteille 500ml. Couleur noire presque opaque, mousse moka aérienne. Arôme de café, noisette, malt torréfié, caramel. Goût de malt torréfié, chocolat noir, café, caramel, sucré, belle amertume. Carbonatation moyenne-faible, corps moyen.

Bouteille 500ml. Couleur jaune dorée translucide, mousse blanche. Arôme de zeste d’agrumes, malt, un peu herbal. Goût de houblon résineux, bonne amertume, malt pâle, pamplemousse. Carbonatation moyenne, corps moyen. Serais-je tombé sur la seule bonne bouteille ou suis-je complètement dans le champs?

A reddish copper ale with a thick frothy lacing mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light candy sugar, light curacao, dark fruits, plums, alcohol warmth, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with light candy sugar, light curacao, coriander, dark fruits, vanilla, pleasant alcohol warmth, very nice. On tap at Festibière de Gatineau 2016.

Pours a clean deep amber colour with a beige creamy-foamy head, good retention and loads of lacing. Sweet malt aromas with some grassy hops, caramel-butterscotch notes and nutty hints. Mild sour taste at first with some decent hoppy finish. Toasted grain lingers with the bitterness. Kind of an easy-drinking Imperial IPA with nothing too offensive.

Pours a clean amber colour with a long lasting head and lots of lacing. Hoppy aromas with caramel malts and hints of spiciness. Mild roasted malt taste with caramel notes and some decent hops balance with toasted malts that lingers. Decent dry mouthfeel and an overall well-balanced IPA.

Pours a clean golden colour with a warm cap that stays a long time with good creamy lacing. Grainy aromas with mild sweetness and some light spiciness from the hops. Cereal malt taste with a little sweetness and some hops in the finish. The mouthfeel is a little thick for the style, but the hops create some mild dryness that helps. An overall good blonde ale.

Hazy, very light golden-yellow colour with a white cap, good retention and some nice creamy-foamy lacing. Aromas of fresh wheat with orange peel notes, hints of honey and some spices, like coriander. The taste shows some nice spices as well, but quite mild overall with just a hint of wheat and oranges. Refreshing, but more on the dry side with some decent hops getting stronger as it goes. Decent witbier with more hops than others of this style.
