Pressed, fermented, and bottled in Gloucestershire.
Dunkertons history reaches back to 1980 when Ivor and Susie Dunkerton made the decision to escape London and buy a small holding in Pembridge, Herefordshire. They realised that with such a small amount of land they needed to specialise in some form of agriculture and spotted that traditional cider making presented a fantastic opportunity.
In 2014 Ivor and Susie passed Dunkertons to their son Julian and his business partner Bean.
In 2016 the production business relocated to our new state of the art cidery at Dowdeswell Park, Cheltenham.

50cl bottle thanks to Grace. Pours golden amber with some bubbles. It’s got more of the apple sauce thing going on with the nose - the taste confirms this and what is great is that there is not too much sweetness nor too much acidity. Overall, a great cider.

50cl bottle thanks to Grace. Pours golden with gentle bubbles. The nose and taste have an apple sauce thing going on but what is nice is the way it is intense without being too sweet or too sharp. The palate is great - big body and texture and a long dry finish. A great example of an English country cider.

Bottle, a bit hazy deep yellow colour, aroma of leather and wood with some very ripe apples, flavour of leather and apples with a touch of spiciness, quite strong bitterness with a light but pronounced sweetness, soft carbonation. Lovely stuff.

0.5l bottle. This is a light cloudy orange gold one with a small quickly gone bubbly white top. On the nose I get, yeah apples. The floury green kind. Also some canned pears in here and traces of some dusty cellar. It's not particularly good this. It's a yeasty monster! As astringent in the mouth as I've never has in anything before and it tastes just horrible old and bad! Like chewing on old rotten grape seeds gone through a guinea pig. This has to be a bad, no make that horrible evil bottle or something. I cannot drink this. Not a chance. 14.04.2013

A golden and light hazy colour, with a small bubbly quick fading head. Nice apple aroma. A fine dry apple flavour. Probably some yeast also. Nice.
