Draft. A- Malty, cocoa. A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, tan head. T- Leather, roasty. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, roasty finish. O- This is odd. Aroma is okay and taste is about like chewing on a genuine leather belt. I wanted to love it and like it to a degree but I'm not sure I can totally get behind it.

Pour is a hazy amber with a large white head. Aorma is a spicy hop with some caramel malt. Flavor is more of a spicy rye malt with some herbal hop. Not a huge oatmeal or hop. This was just barely o.k.

On tap at Taphouse 41, pours a hazy dark amber brown with a small beige head. Nose brings out toasted pecans, light maple and bready toffee. Flavour is very subdued, with very faint maple and toasted pecans. Could use a bit more punch with the adjuncts. Pleasant.

On tap at Brickway, pours black with an amber tinge and a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of holiday spices, with medium roast, and toasted bready caramel. Flavour is very spicy and somewhat sweet, with nutmeg and cinnamon, with light cocoa and oats. Messy and not exactly well-integrated, but it works okay.

On tap at Brickway, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out dry cocoa powder, light oats, and some chalk. Flavour is very chalky, with plenty of oats, subdued coffee, and a touch of cocoa. Chalky and lacking depth. Not impressive.

On tap at Brickway, pours a near-black with an amber tinge and a small beige head. Aroma brings out heaps of vanilla extract upfront, with the coffee further buried. Flavour is a vanilla bomb, with almost nothing but vanilla upfront; the coffee then kicks in and rounds it out a bit. You have to love vanilla to love this one. Not bad.

On tap at Brickway, pours a clear golden orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of chewy resinous hops upfront, with plenty of syrupy caramel malts. Flavour is a bit chaotic, with lots of resinous hops, alcohol, and sweet caramel malt. Not as messy as I expected, but it works okay.
