Description
We brew unique beers, one barrel at a time

We also offer wines, hard ciders, a locally focused snack menu, and a generally laid back Wisconsin tavern vibe. In fact, the only thing we don’t offer are the answers to life’s greatest questions... although some say they can be found at the bottom of a glass.

Tap at One Barrel. Big beige head on top of a brown-black body. A little under-carbonated, but the flavors are spot on. Nice, mellow, roasty chocolate. Easy and enjoyable.

Tap at One Barrel. Murky thick amber-orange body. Malty and heavy, but has a nice citra edge. Quite malt forward, not really nailing it there. Not bitter, leans into the mellow citra. Certainly not even close to a World Class offering, but not off and enjoyable enough.

Tap at One Barrel. Unfiltered amber-brown body. Unfiltered amber-brown body. Thin, steady head. Interesting melding of flavors...Citra-ish hops, barrel, mellow brett. Not an impressive body or mouthfeel, sort of bland and uncarbonated. The brett and hop tones are vaguely reminiscent of Orval, but the barrel takes it to a fuller, deeper realm. Sort of thin. Drinkable for the style.

Tap at One Barrel. Murky unfiltered amber-brown body. Off-white/beige head. Amber and rye monstrosity, the barrel throws it way over the top. Sweet, sugary, full bodied. Rich and malty. Very sweet. Whiskey forward, huge beer.
