Bottle at home, thanks to Ruuurd for the trade. Clear dark golden with bubbly almost white head. Sweet sugary malts, tangerine, bread, a bit of bubblegum, lychee, those cans with chopped tropical fruits in syrup where there’s some random fruit aroma but it’s mostly syrup. Over medium sweet, medium bitter. Medium bodied. Hmmm, it’s not terrible but it’s weird and not really much of an IPA to be honest.

33cl Bottle at The Black Smith. Deep dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, dark fruits, forest fruits, chocolate, some pumpernickel, banana. Flavour is sweet, sticky, malty, banana, dark fruits, hint of roast, chocolate, light spicy, bittersweet finish, light boozy. Medium bodied. A bit simple and sweet, but certainly enjoyable.

On tap at The Black Smith. Clear light amber colour, white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, yeast, light muddled hops. Flavour is sweet, bready, malty, yeasty, light hoppy. Medium bodied. Not very good, especially not after the excellent Oedipus Pais Tropical.

7 3 7 3 15 draft at The Blacksmith, Zaandam. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, light fruits, caramel and grassy notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

29 mar 2019 Bottle at Bierproefavond DAVO bieren - Wijnhuis Ede. Color: Slightly hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Malt, hop. Taste: Malt, hop, notes of citrus. Modearte bitterness. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Easy drinkable, in between pilsener and IPA. Ok. A lot better than I remember from my tasting notes in january 2018. Older tasting note - 03 jan 2018: Bottle. Color: Clear golden, white head. Taste: Very little taste. Some hopbitterness, lightly citrus and tropical hints, bit malty. But overall watery and lacking taste. Very short finish. Not what I expect from an IPA, not even what I would expect from a pilsener. Waste of money... 2.2

33cl bottle. BB 01/2018. A dark brown beer with a huge most good lasting beige head. Aroma of dark riped fruits, raisins, caramel and some chocolate. Taste of dark mild roasted malt, caramel, burned chocolate, wheat, raisins, nice!
