The Church Street Brewing Company is a craft brewery located in Itasca – a western suburb of Chicago. We love what we do! We brew traditional and unpretentious lagers and ales that represent the old and new beer styles of European influence. A family business built on a dream to make quality beer for our loyal clientele. Although we have won several awards, our real passion is to serve our patrons with consistently good-tasting craft beer. We serve locally, nationally and internationally. Bottle thanks to the Wingman. It pours murky orange-amber with a thick off-white head. The nose is earthy, bitter-sweet, doughy, wood, lemon verbena and mild astringency. The taste is bitter, earthy, pine, dough, resin, dirty, alcohol boost, rough astringency and lemon verbena with a slightly hot, resinous finish. medium body and moderate carbonation. A bit dirty. OK at best.

Bottle split at CBC Clerko, thanks to my Wingman, 10/09/15. Lightly hazed golden orange with a moderate off white covering. Nose is bready, light spice, earthy hops, melon, bitter orange pangs. Taste comprises melon, bread dough, citric tingle, bitter orange, dirty come earthy notes, caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Boring, offers nothing, hops almost non existent.

Bottle split at CBC Clerko, thanks to my Wingman, 10/09/15. Hazed golden amber with a well appointed egg shell white covering. Nose is light plastic, orange, straw, bready notes. Taste comprises tangerine, melon, light spice, dull hop, bread dough. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a tickle of hop bitterness. 2nd rate pedestrian IPA.
