Bottle found in Quito. Pours with a pretty good foam, very bleach white, as well as vaguely cloudy yellow liquid with strong carbonation. Stinks of yeast, the Belgian type, but little else. Taste is of more yeast with a few grain hints, almost orange but not really. Medium finish, slightly sweet. An okay Belgian tripel brew, alcohol is invisible but nonetheless it's not too exciting either.

Pours with a very boring minimal head and dark brown body with ruby hints. The aroma is sweet coffee, barley, a bit of brown sugar. The flavour is a sweet coffee with hints of sugar, soft roasted barley notes. Medium finish, not too watery nor too oily. Seems like a perfectly average porter, needs more of everything to make it interesting.

Bottle from a Quito supermarket. Has a very thin foamy head and light gold body. heavy carbonation. Aroma is like ginger ale, heavy on the ginger, but still very soda-like, some chlorinated pool stench in there too. Flavour is a meaty affair of ginger and soda, feels musty on the palate, beefy and heavy. Like downing suntan lotion thinned in club soda. The more I think about it the less appealing it gets, so I'm going to stop reviewing here before I start throwing out the negative expletives. But yeah- this would be a risky purchase for even the staunchest beer lover.

Bottle found at a supermarket in Quito. Pours with decent head, though thin, and caramel-amber body with moderate carbonation. Soft aroma of brown sugar and caramel. Flavour is meaty molasses with more caramel hints. Medium finish, somewhat sweet but not overbearing. An adequate red ale.

Bottle at the DC Expanded Sour Tasting, brought by iphonephan, thanks! Poured a clear golden yellow color with a small off-white head. Aroma was solid ginger notes, touch of wheat, floral hops. Flavor was a light citrus character, with a mixture of fresh cut and pickled ginger notes to it with a finish of a splash of coconut.
