Description

Cloudy deep yellow with a tall off-white head of good retention. Wheat bread, phenols, leather, less banana. Light sweet, low bitterness. Nothing remarkable.

Clear deep brown to black with a decent ivory-coloured head. Roasted malt, burnt bread, spicy hop, metallic hints. Rather dry. Light plus bitterness. Industrial feel.

A bit murky copper with an off-white head. Wet cereal grain, toasted malt, and a bit of hop zest. Full bodied. Finish is mostly moist dough with a touch of citrus brightness. A nice beer.

Small off-white head over fully hazy orange-ochre beer. Bit sourish smell as pickles. Slight oxydation (9(!) days beyond BBd). Straw, yeast, slightly withered away vegetables. Dry cookies or wafers, toast, just-roasted kernels. Yeast features and plywood. Slick, light body, well-carbonated. Nothing special and, certainly for a Keller, bit below par.

Helder goudgeel bier met veel schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig en licht fruitig met iets van graan en wat stro. Een heel degelijk bier!

Pours a unclear dark mahoniebrown. Offwhite, rather creamy, stable, medium small head. Scent is quite off, DMS-heavy, grainy (but in a bad, spoiled way). Some caramel beneath. Taste is far better, not getting DMS here, really. Perhaps it's overdominated, perhaps the actual 'off' scent isn't really DMS but just very similar? Mildly bitter, medium sweet, surprisingly clean (not as sticky and exhausting as expected). Fairly crisp, even. Mild on the caramel. Some earthy, nearly chocolaty tones as well. Decent, but not a very inviting aroma

Pours unclear, dark amber to copper. Medium small, stable white head. Scent is full, deep maltyness, creamy impression. Mild to silent on hops, yeast only as a supportive roll - not a main player. Taste is surprisingly bitter. Crisp yet deep maltyness, very caramelly. Breadcrust. Has some Bitter Ale influences, seemingly, but much less creamy so, in compare. Quite enjoyable, simple as it may be.

500 ml swing top bottle purchased at the Munich airport duty free shop. The pour is a slight haze of golden orange and a big 2 inch light tan foamy head that is lasting. The aroma is baking bread, straw, malt and a touch of grass. The taste is the bread malt, soft grass and bit of herbal in the finish. Nice mild well integrated flavors. The palate is medium bodied, unfiltered mouth feel, soft carbonation and a bread straw softly mineral earth finish. Solid.
