Can from Beer52, now at 4.6%. Clear gold, small white head, low retention. Aroma of grains, light yeast and dusty hop, some lemon and lime. Taste of grains, raspberry, light earthy-grassy hops, some bread dough. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Decent.

Can from Beer52. Pours a cloudy pale straw-gold with decent fluffy white top, good lacing. Aroma of papaya, waxy citrus rind, grapefruit. Taste is tropical being a touch watered down with some flaked malt and a light hop splash in the finish. This one needs a lot more bitterness to elevate it. Its not overly sweet but the lack of bitterness leaves it just off balance as well. Nice soft mouthfeel, medium bodied with the aid of oats. Mixed.

Can from EeBria. Cloudy gold with small white consistent head. Big tropical aroma with mango and passionfruit most notable, some herbs. Taste is light, tropical, some citrus, grassy, light zest crisp bite. Light bodied, zingy carbonation works well here. Tasty.

Can from lowcostbeer, consumed 1 month past BBE. Pours a cloudy orange-gold with small white head. Aroma and taste of aromatic herbs, juniper, some citrus peel, moderate bitterness in the finish. Its ok, not as overbearing in the taste as the aroma suggested but I don't want another one!

Can from lowcostbeer, consumed 7 weeks past BBE. Look: Light cloudy gold, small fizzy white head which died very quickly. Nose: gooseberry, grape, aromatic floral hops, shrubbery, all a bit heady. Taste: flavours as above combining in a sickly way as its just too aromatic and perfumey, some faint biscuit like malts aren't enough to help. Palate: medium bodied, slick, low carbonation. An unbalanced beer and I'm sure the age of the beer doesn't help but that wont be the main issue in a flavoured pale ale.

Can from lowcostbeer, consumed 6 weeks past BBE. Pours a murky dark brown with small off-white head which fades a bit too quickly. Nice aroma of roasted malts, sweetness, hay, hints of spice and dark chocolate. Taste is lovely, there is a roastiness but chocolate and berry notes come through. Hop wise there is a grassiness with a tingly spice in the finish. Light to medium bodied, slick, moderate fairly fine carbonation. Good stuff.
