Bottled from Kingbird. Pours a deep mahogany. Malt forward with a nuttiness. Pretty excellent
It's good; I just don't think it's worth it's worth the 8 buck price tag.

12/15 bottle - so a couple of months past their recommended age. My interest in region ticks has reawakened. Very dark brown with a light tan head that fades fast. Aroma of whiskey, brown sugar, vanilla, oak. Full bodied, low carbonation. Tastes as it smells. Is there some bitterness at the end or does the oak and rye spiciness provide that close? Good stuff.

Draft at Beltway Brewing Company. Poured a pitch black oil color with a small tan head. Aroma was a bit hot, a bit boozy, roasted notes, chocolate. Surprisingly enough, despite it being a touch hot, it was really smooth and enjoyable. Smooth dark chocolate, light roast, vanilla. Smooth.
