Cask at the brewpub, 22/02/15. Amber pour with moderate beige edgeing. Nose is dark fruit, candied fruit peel, light spice, toffee. Taste comprises malty licks, rich fruit cake, dates, toffee. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, seim drying close. Decent enough barley wine, especially considering this was on cask, subtle nuances and drinks below the ABV.

Draft at the source. Hazy deep amber color, beige head. Aroma of singed toast, burnt caramel. Taste has bittersweet cocoa, earthy burnt coffee. Very tasty.
