Avondale Brewing is a locally owned and operated brewery in the heart of the Deep South with an unmistakable affection for hand-crafted brews.

Combine the charm of a historic town, the passions of several good friends, a rooted respect for the craft of brewing and you have unearthed the beginning of what Avondale Brewing Company is all about. A byproduct of the collaboration between Coby Lake Craig Shaw and Hunter Lake , ABC is a small brewery housed in a fully renovated, historic building in the Avondale area of Birmingham, Alabama.

Clear piss gold lingering head.
Soapy, apple, golden ale nose.
Apple-kiwi, white passion fruit, white grape. Very simple & easy kettle. Kiwi? Mild passion fruit. Light acid, smooth, saltine backend.
Not too sour, mildly tart, subtly sweet.

Very easy kettle sour.

Can. Dark brown, with a tan head. Aroma is malty vanilla with hints of whiskey. Taste was slightly malty sweet upfront with a vanilla whiskey finish.

Can from Filet & Vine, Montgomery. Fruity and piney hops with citrus, orange, tropical fruits, grapefruit, some resin and malt. Flavour is moderate sweet with a bitter finish. Simply a solid IPA, bit of a classic profile.
