Description
Oktober 2013 werd Stichting Haagsche Broeder ingeschreven in het handelsregister en begin 2014 werd er gestart met brouwen. 28 juni 2014 werd de eerste Haagsche Broeder Prior aangeboden aan Burgemeester Jozias van Aartsen en is de verkoop van start gegaan.

Growler at Rootz Spring festival. Blackmwith tan head. Deep roasted chocolate malts, roasted barley, toffee, bourbon, vanilla, oak. Big sweet and bitter. Full body and soft carbonation.

Tap at Rootz Spring festival. Near black pour with thin offwhite head. Sweet roasted malts, caramel, leather, light mushrooms, truffle. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Growler at Rootz Spring festival. Hazy yellow with no head. Sweet honeywine, light kind of honey, floral, plasticcy, lemon, passionfruit, sake, juniper, big alcohol. Sweet and moderate bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation. // Shared from bottle at The Hague Tasting. clear pale straw. Sweet light honey.

8 3 8 4 17Growler at Rootz Pinkster Lentebierfestival ‘18. Black with a small brown head. Aroma of boozy bourbon, vanilla, oak barrel, chocolate, caramel and vanilla. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Growler at Rootz Festival. Black with light brown head. Licorice, sweet malts, boozy bourbon, soft smoke and roast, tar, slick dark chocolate. Over medium sweet and bitter. Full bodied. Quite nice.
