Description
Oktober 2013 werd Stichting Haagsche Broeder ingeschreven in het handelsregister en begin 2014 werd er gestart met brouwen. 28 juni 2014 werd de eerste Haagsche Broeder Prior aangeboden aan Burgemeester Jozias van Aartsen en is de verkoop van start gegaan.

Bottle shared @ JimGreenuk tasting, December 2017 (bottled October '17). Hazy copper to brown color. Off white head. Aroma's: hoppy, sweetish, fruity. Retronasal it's caramel malts, sweetish, bitterish. Flavor is moderate bittersweet. Medium bodied. Not bad.

Bottle at the JimGreen tasting, Den Haag, December 2017. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is malt, sweet tropical fruit, woody hop. The flavour is moderate sweet with a crisp, malt, fruity, dry woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

7 3 7 3 15 Bottle shared at the pre-Christmas tasting with JimGreenuk. Very hazy dark amber with a tan head. Aroma of light fruits, pine, weedy hops and malt. Flavour is light moderate sweet and above moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Sampled from bottle at jim is back xmas tasting. Gradient amber with light tan head. Massive sweet malts, honey, caramel, breadiness. Big sweet and moderate earthy bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation. Some chalky unfiltered feel. Quite nice.

Bottle at Jim’s back tasting! Hazy amber with big beige head. Grapefruit, strawberry milkshake, caramel, orange peel, soft herbs and dank hops. Quite a classic DIPA. Over medium sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied with a bit sticky feel. Nice.
