750mL bottle, pours a cloudy dark amber orangey brown with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out burnt caramel and medium sweet honey. Flavour is along the same lines, with light maple, burnt caramel and tangy acidic notes on the finish. Quite a thin palate like all their offerings. Pleasant flavour, but a little weak and lacking oomph. Solid.

750mL bottle, pours a dark amber orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out caramel and medium sweet honey. Flavour is along the same lines, with notes of caramel, medium sweet honey and dark toffee. Quite thin for the style, but it's very pleasant.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy dark-ish golden yellow with a few bubbles. Aroma brings out medium sweet honey and moderate acidity. Flavour is quite thin, with lots of acidity, citric notes and mellow honey. Nothing offensive, but it's not a complex or elegant mead. Meh.

On tap at Capitol Cider, pours a clear blonde with no head. Nose is big on the treacle toffee-like honey. Flavour is big and decadent, with treacle toffee, alcohol and lots of honey. Fairly alcoholic but really well-balanced, with not too much sweetness. Excellent.

Sample during "Ellen's Blue Hair Birthday Bonanza!" on 12/12/2014. This Mead is a clear pale brown color with a minimal head and tenuous lacing on the sides of the glass. Fruit and honey in the nose. Full-bodied with flavors of sweet fruits and herbal honey. The finish is sweet with a caramel and fruit aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottle shared by BeerandBlues2 at DC Pre-Thanksgiving tasting. Thanks! Poured an uncarbonated, clear purple color. Aroma was some light sweet honey notes, elderberries aren’t my specialty, so I assume what I’m tasting is elderberry. Some light vanilla notes, honey.
