Brewery draught, 1/14/24. Moderately-to-heavily hazy. Brass-golden. Small, white head, quickly to ring. Yeasty though nothing bad from the yeast. Juice, pine, heavy citrus, light mango. Clean. Lots of cracker. Light bodied, lots of cracker malt. Lots of juice with a light pine backbone and ample bitterness. Just needs a little more malt depth. Lots of yeast character (heavy ester and phenol) but not hot or plasticy, just heavily doughy.

On tap as part of a flight from the brewery in Cumberland. Appearance is clear golden yellow with no sparkle, finger width off white head with fair retention and no lacing. Aroma is pleasant malt, caramel and winter spices. Taste follows aroma with calming winter spices, cinnamon and banana. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, a decent winter warmer.

On tap as part of a flight at the brewery in Cumberland. Appearance is hazy pale yellow with no sparkle, finger width foamy off white head with fair retention and trace lacing. Aroma is moderately strong nondescript sweet fruit (almost like a cobbler). Taste is strong mix of fruit, light spice and bread. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, soft to average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, a bit of a head scratcher. Doesn’t feel like a DIPA, nor taste like one particularly.

On tap as part of a flight at the brewery in Cumberland. Appearance is opaque black (dark brown at bottom of the glass), no sparkle, finger width beige head fading to a ring and trace lacing. Aroma is strong coffee, lactose and chocolate. Taste is strong coffee, a bit to the bitter side, milder lactose and chocolate. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall pretty much as advertised. A bit more bitter in the flavor than I’d like.

On tap as part of a flight at the brewery in Cumberland. Appearance is hazy pale yellow with light sparkle, thin cap of white head quickly fading to a ring with trace lacing. Aroma is citrus and mildly astringent musky cat piss. Taste is vague fruit but kind of a tart ,dank vegetal quality with late cracker. Mouthfeel is light side of light to medium bodied with frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall is this an NEIPA or just IPA (menu calls it the former in the description but the latter along the header)? If an NEIPA, not a great representative of the style as it's weirdly not opaque, not thick, not juicy and overly malty. OK IPA.

On tap as part of a flight at the brewery in Cumberland. Appearance is opaque yellow with nice sparkle, finger width white foamy head with poor retention and light lacing. Aroma is strong orange citrus and light apple. Taste is citrusy lemon, grapefruit and late cracker. Mouthfeel is light side of light to medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, average to lively carbonation and mildly bitter and cracker finish. Overall, some juice but not a full on NEIPA. Ok.
