Looks like double Citra. Smells like Abner but maybe a bit more juicy. The head is sticky and off-white. lots of big bubbles. It’s very thin in the mouthfeel. astringent bitter orange, clementine, a lot of pine essence as well.

No agitation/swirling pour: Medium haze. Honey amber. Small white head with moderate retention.
Not overly strong/intensely aromatic but there is a solid juiciness here. Mango and pineapple at the forefront, with low malt character. Bit of grapefruit on the end with no booze.
Dry with light cracker-like malt and low, somewhat loose carbonation providing a fairly soft texture. Good maltiness to it, despite the strong attenuation and a fair amount of spicy bitterness that easily balances but doesn’t get tacky or go overboard. The ester and light alcohol is a touch strong on the finish but lots of juicy hop character helps mitigate this, for the most part.
With agitation/swirling of sediment pour: Heavily hazy, bordering soupy. Huge, white, well-retained head.
Still not intensely aromatic but what is there is nice. The yeast/wheat/hop sediment makes for a softer, less spicy/grapefruit-laden nose.
Texture improved, of course. Overall a bit muted with some yeastiness and no real intense juiciness but VERY solid stuff. By far the best beer they’ve put out. I never really doubted they could brew a good beer, but they just filter the shit out of everything, so it was nice to try this one.

This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a ruddy burnt orange almost copper color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated immediately.
No lace.
The aroma had some pumpkin sweetness, light ginger, allspice, doughy malts, caramel sweetness and some leather.
The flavor was moderately sweet with the spices not blending as well as I had hoped for. Aftertaste was disengaged from spices to malts. Finish was spicy.
The palate was between light and medium bodied. Low sessionability. Decent carbonation. ABV felt fine.
Overall, better pumpkin ales on the market, probably not again for me.

The aroma had some sweet nuts, smooth caramel/toffee sweet malts, grassy hops and sweet bready/doughiness.
The flavor leaned towards the smooth sweet breadiness. Some dark breadiness came in. Super smooth lingering malty aftertaste and finish.
The palate was between light and medium bodied. Good sessionability. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine.
Overall, good as a beer, somewhat lager-like, but didn’t bother me. I’d come back to this.

Pours a straw from a tap, lots of hay in the nose, makes it difficult to drink, works better when I take the hay out. Okay beer.

Pours gold into a shaker. Bright white soapy head with medium retention recedes to bubble surface. Hay and caramel aromas. Crisp with sweet/sour citrus and hay front to back. Lasting bitter earth finish.

12oz can pours out a dark brown topped with a tan head. Nose is sweet milk chocolate a light roast malt and a touch of coffee . Taste is more of the nice milk chocolate some vanilla even and a roast malt.
