Description
Located in the heart of Providence’s downtown district, our former train station-turned-brew pub features classic pub fare, exceptional craft beers from all around New England, and a select few of our own award-winning beers that are brewed on site.

Nestled inside a courtyard that is a popular place to dine in the warmer months, you will feel the pulse of Providence but experience the warmth and charm of a neighborhood establishment. Our high ceilings, exposed brick and dark wood throughout provide unique character and ambiance.

Whether you are a local Rhode Islander or visiting Providence, we welcome you to USB!

Since 1993, Union Station Brewery has brewed and served its own handcrafted beer alongside classic American tavern fare in the former Union Station train depot.

Our brewers keep a small, rotating selection of seasonal and specialty brews on tap, as well as a wide assortment of popular craft beers.

In 2019, a few local restauranteurs and bar proprietors purchased USB, transitioning it from a corporate entity to a true Rhode Island brew pub with a neighborhood feel in the heart of Providence.

Welcome and enjoy!

From a pint can. Pours a clear gold with a white head. Aromas of toasted grain. Flavors are light bitter with plenty of malty sweetness.

Taster pour on tap at Rhode Island Brew Fest. It's an opaque, milky yellow with decent cap of off-white head with poor retention and light lacing. Aroma is strong juicy citrus, lighter pineapple and tropical fruit. Taste is very strong grapefruit, citrus, milder tropical fruit. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with thin, smooth texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, really juicy pretty classic NEIPA.

Pint at the source. Dark brown in color with faint garnet at the edges and a creamy off white head that persists. Coffee and roast with bits of sweet bread and light pitted fruits. Nice beer.

On tap at Union Station, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out light blueberry notes, with little else to speak of. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of blueberry dominating. Simple but pleasant.
