We started the Rome beer tasting by ticking some countries thanks a lot Alberto for securing these gems. pours orange golden out of the can. nose is grains and hint of butter. tastes of corn, grains, light hops, sweet malt and touch of butter. not bitter which usually helps this style.

0,33 bottle directly from Vlora-Albania, courtesy of Milor. Thank you Milor. Pours hazy (cant believe it) golden color going a bit more on the dark side. Tons of sediments in the liquid (!), small gassy white foam which dissipates in a blink. Nose: bread character with a distinctive cara accent, pastry...on the sweet side I would say. Some floral notes. Mouth: really balanced for a premium lager. Thin but never boring, frizzy, grainy, an accent which talks to summer fruit. My friend was totally right...not bad at all.

Milder, leicht herber Antrunk mit minimaler Hopfigkeit. Der Mittelteil gestaltet sich weitgehend wässrig, auch der Nachgeschmack ist eigentlich keine Erwähnung wert. Wissen die in Butteheim, was die Albaner da unter ihrem Namen brauen? 8/8/5/5/8/5

Can bought for me by a kid in Shkodra who wanted to practice his German. Strange. Clear very pale yellow color, white coca cola head. Aroma of white pepper and light hay. Taste is peppery cardboard. Hmmmm.

Golden color, small white head. Skunky nose with some bready maltyness. Light-bodied. Sweet malty, a bit skunky. Lacks hop profile of "real Löwenbräu". I don’t know if clear bottles are good deal in hot country like Albania.
