Thanks Matej and Ozren! Well, knowing how Istra loves to utilize all the great things it’s known for to their fullest, it was only a matter of time before someone combined truffles and beer. An expensive (10€+ seemingly) 0.75l bottle was to be expected. Anyway, golden body if I remember correctly. The aroma strikes with a full-on, enormous blast of truffles, which will either draw or repel a person. Most people were scared away, it seems, some loved it, but a truffle gatherer who smelled it said it seemed chemical to him - and indeed, the ingredients list says "truffle aroma". Oh well... the gassy truffle note actually continues on strongly and bitterly into a sweet, dull, overly yeasty body that ends abruptly. I honestly did not find this to be enjoyable. It’s fully a gimmick in my opinion, unlike the Teranino which might slightly function as a beer, sorta, but hey, try it - maybe you’ll join those few who loved it... it’s simply a love or hate beer. Unfortunately, I ended up in the latter category.

0.33 l bottle at Hop In Pub, Canal, Zagreb. Thanks Vi?nja666. Hazy dark amber, small off-white head. Visible sediment. Fruity aroma, dry fruits, maybe biscuit, some phenols there. Quite watery, taste is kind of bitter, faint leaves and dry fruits flavors. Abrupt lousy finish. Many mistakes.
