Pours a solid black with a thinnish tan head that slowly recedes to minimal lace on the glass. Heavy coffee aroma with hints of roast, cream, cereal grain and light fruit. The flavor reminds me of weak coffee mostly. Espresso with a light bit of dark fruit and roast. Medium to thin body with a moderate level of carbonation and a roasty watery mouthfeel. This beer needs a bit of dialing in. The label calls this an espresso oatmeal stout, but it really drinks more like a dry stout. Missing is that creamy richness that I expect from oatmeal, and the addition of the coffee thins the hell out of the body here. Bump up the crystal and oatmeal or mash a bit warmer and this one could hold some promise as the coffee does come through nicely without any acrid bitterness.

Pours a medium golden color with a huge frothy white head that persists forever. Smell of grainy almost sweet pilsner malt with a faint bit of spicy and floral hops at the edge of perception. Light grainy clean flavored brew with just a hint of spicy hop. Medium to light body with a crisp level of carbonation and a light dry grainy mouthfeel. Pretty spot on for the style, light clean and refreshing.
